# Why did I receive a "confirmation of change" email?

CircularPlace has already implemented **security measures to protect your account**. However, to help you secure your account, we will send you an email if a change is made to your account. The change could involve your password, email address, billing information, or address. The email informs you of potentially suspicious activity by notifying you of the modification that was made.
